Kayla's 18th Birthday

The day after Christmas, we headed to Nanny's in Oklahoma to get ready for Kayla's 18th birthday. When I was there at Thanksgiving Kayla realized that she was in love with Zac Efron from High School Musical and Hairspray so we decided to throw her a High School Musical birthday party.

We had HSM plates, cups, tablecloths...

banners...

backdrops...

and best of all, a lifesize cutout of Zac Efron that we brought on the plane from California. He was the hit of the party. Everyone wanted to take pictures with him.

Ashley puckering up to Zac.

Me and Ash.

The birthday girl with her leading man.

Courtney, me, Kayla and Ashley.

The Jeffries family and Kayla with the High School Musical star. I love this picture because he almost looks real.

Here she is opening her presents. All of the stuff I gave her was High School Musical stuff (socks, the movies, blanket, pillow, and posters).

Here she is with her Zac Efron pillow.

Zac Efron poster.

We did a Link Larkin cake instead of High School musical since she really loved him in Hairspray.

A Kayla and Lindsey tradition. Everytime we have cake, we have to take a picture like this.

The cake was really good. It was half chocolate and half white. But we only got to eat the chocolate half because she wouldn't let us cut the picture. And when she finally did, we had to do it very slowly, starting with only cutting off the legs. It was a fun party and a great trip all together. I miss them all already. I can't believe the next time I see all of them will be for Kayla's graduation in May.
